Toasting Pumpkin Seeds

Posted By SugarKat on Oct 19, 2010 at 8:07PM

While hubby was carving the pumpkin, I decided to toast the seeds!

It was pretty easy...here's the step by step.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Separate the seeds from the other inards.

Then rinse the seeds and dry them on a kitchen towel.

Then spread out onto a greased cookie sheet and salt.

Cook for 10 min and then turn over...then cook for another 10ish minutes or until brownish.  I put some garlic powder on some of them, but mostly they're just salted.  If you like them extra salty you can boil the pumpkin seeds in salt water for 10 minutes before you dry them off...

They're yummy and crunchy!  Mmmmmmm-

Oh yum! thanks for this, I'm doing it this year. And separating the seeds really seems like a man's job, right? ;)
